This cooperation resulted in formation of Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies (CTCT) joint venture in 2002, which develops AccuGrade equipment controls.
AccuGrade system gives the customer the opportunity to increase the productivity of the machine by 40%, while significantly reducing costs and allows improving the operational characteristics of the machine, as well as its controllability. The factory set of integrated sensors, wiring and hydraulics is a revolutionary solution by Caterpillar, which allows equipping the machine with various types of systems, such as: cross slope sensor blocks, ultrasonic sensors, plane laser systems and laser receivers, 3D solutions with the use of GPS/GLONASS satellites or solutions with a robotized total station. We understand that the productivity and economic efficiency of our customers depends on how accurately and quickly the machine works. In the difficult conditions of a real construction site with high labor intensity, the task of holding the dump of the machine accurately at the design level becomes particularly relevant.
AccuGrade Automatic Control Systems allow you: to maintain the working body of the machine (dump, bucket, roller, milling cutter plate, etc.) at the design level in automatic mode, the operator can work with the digital model of the project directly from the machine cab. This makes it possible to increase the accuracy of work, reduce alterations, increase equipment service life, save on construction materials, reduce equipment maintenance costs and withdraw from demarcation geodetic works to a large extent.
