STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIP: JOINT VISIT TO FACTORY IN CHINA BY BORUSAN CAT KAZAKHSTAN AND CATERPILLAR® WITH CUSTOMERS

In spring 2024 the Oil&Gas Division of Caterpillar® company and Borusan Cat Kazakhstan company organized trip to Caterpillar factory in China for their key customers: CNPC Tobi Munaigas, Tobi Munaigas Man Komplekt and Oktyabrsknet to familiarize them with the production facilities of Caterpillar company. The delegation comprised 14 participants – representatives of the Customers and employees of Caterpillar and Borusan Cat Kazakhstan.    

The participants met the heads of Cat Research and Development Department and regional managers. Caterpillar and Borusan Cat Kazakhstan told about the companies’ activities and shared experience in supporting their Customers operating in oil and gas industry. Representative of the Customer’s company Li Gaochao, the Vice President of CNPC AMG, made a speech in which he told the story of business with Caterpillar, development of business with Borusan Cat Kazakhstan and potential for development of business in Kazakhstan.   

The delegation also visited Caterpillar Tianjin Ltd enterprise where various Cat® engines are manufactured. The Customers praised highly safety, production process management systems, cleanliness and quality control at the factory. The last visit was made to Cat Reman factory in Shanghai where the Customers took part in useful discussion of repair processes, quality control and inspection criteria with Caterpillar specialists.       

CNPC company operates a large Cat engines and generator sets fleet. Partnership relations with this strategic Customer are improving year by year while remaining mutually beneficial and highly effective alliance. We believe that the visit to Cat enterprises allowed the Customers to personally assess the quality of Cat machines, to see how they are valuable for enterprise and to become more  confident about partnership with Borusan Cat Kazakhstan for years to come.
