Within the scope of Gender Equality Program in June 2024 four female students from Karaganda Higher Polytechnic College, Karaganda Agrotechnical College and Karaganda A. Saginov University were enrolled as participants in Young Technician Program launched by Borusan Cat Kazakhstan.
During five months three students will undertake internship at the production shops of the Component Rebuild Center in Karaganda in the position of metalworkers on equal terms with men. One of the students will undertake internship in the position of mobile photographer at the Training and Development Department. Upon completion of internship the students will have an opportunity to become the company’s employees.
Borusan Cat Kazakhstan company launched Young Technician Project in 2018. This program’s goal is to select and prepare young specialists studying at technical institutions. Under the project students attend on-the-job training course at the company’s shops, offices and existing processing lines during 5 months. Students that complete the training course successfully may be employed by the company. As of today within the scope of this project aimed at employment of young specialists 12 of 55 students that completed the training course became the employees of Borusan Cat Kazakhstan Company.
