All types of transmissions and torque converters are being rebuilt at the CRC, from the Cat® 416 backhoe loader to the largest Cat 797 dump truck, according to Caterpillar® Manufacturer (OEM) standards.
The workshop, in which the repair of the power transmission is carried out, includes 3 disassembly zones and 4 assembly zones for the provision of repair work in the shortest possible period of time.
The rebuild process includes:
Preliminary washing and disassembly of the transmission and torque converter, after - inspection of spare parts;
Thorough cleaning of spare parts using high temperatures in a special washing machine using reagents;
Preparation by CRC specialists of a detailed report on the breakdown of each component on the basis of the inspection;
Testing and adjustment of transmissions and differentials according to specifications applicable to the new unit.
After the repair work is carried out, the units are painted on special equipment and packaged before shipment.
